While nominations for Elders can be made unvetted at the next business meeting, in order to give the congregation time to pray about and evaluate the candidates, it is requested that members provide their nominations to Will by Sunday Nov. 8th. Candidates will be announced shortly after that and will then be available for a town hall style Q&A on Sunday, Dec. 13th at 5:30pm but members are encouraged to question and interact with the candidates outside of this Q&A time. A special called business meeting will be held on Sunday, January 3rd at 5:30pm for the first of two required votes to approve Elder candidates. The second vote to approve candidates for Elder will occur two weeks later on Sunday January 17th at 5:30pm which will be the church’s regular business meeting of the first quarter of the year.
